I figured I'd write a quick update before Kyle and I munch on some grub. The other night I made this new recipe called vegetarian tortilla stew. It was actually pretty good- very spicy! I went to the grocery store and found vegetarian stock, so my soup and stew woes have now been solved. But...this means I have to make them all myself. No soup in a can for me. Oh well.
Here is the link to the recipe. I used red enchilada sauce instead of green, and skipped on the diced tomatoes. I think next time I'll use more corn and maybe add some black beans. Anyway, so yesterday/today was/is my rebirthday. My birthday pretty much sucked for a lot of different reasons... so we had a do-over. I'll post the pictures and you can see for yourself what I got! Kyle and I went roller skating today! Yes, roller skating. It's one hell of a work out for your legs/butt, I'll tell ya that! I was always use to roller blades so it took awhile to get use to the skates, but

luckily neither kyle or myself

fell at all! Go us! Okay, enjoy the pictures. I don't feel like typin

g much else.

The first pictures are of the card. I really liked it, not the typical kind of card. Then there is a picture of each present wrapped with a little poem thing on it that correlated to the gift inside. (minus the kitchen aid.) The last photo is of me talking on the phone with Jakob before opening the presents. Once again we were coming up with ideas for things to do when he comes to visit.

Haha, look at those rad skates! Kyle was actually a lot happier than he looks in the photo. I swear. Alrighty, we're going to go bake a cake, or make some taco dip.. or... something. Who knows. Adieu.

You know, if you had TOLD me you were doing a birthday do over, I could have sent you your presents that are sitting in my kitchen!
WOOOOOOHOOOOOO @ the Kitchen Aid! That is one of the very best presents Bill has ever gotten me, and he got it our very first Christmas together, so it's nearly five years old and still going strong!
Haha, at first I thought he bought it for himself. Kyle tends to be the one who loves kitchen gadgets. But I tried it last night when we were making taco dip and that shit can spin! Lmfao. Now he'll have to buy me all the other crazy attachments that go with it. Now mom can be jealous of both of us because we have kitchen aids and she doesn't! And I did mention something in one of my previous blogs about my rebirthday. Not my fault you didn't pick up on it. Haha. I put a post on craigslist and noone wants the kitties! What the hell! Come visit and take one home. The white and brown one that you like is really sweet and rubs up on harley all the time.
